If you are a parent of
a child in the Gurnee District 56 Band Program, you are automatically a
member of the Do Re Mi Club. The Do Re Mi Club supports the successful
band program in Gurnee. The Do Re Mi Club has several officers and
committee chairpersons that meet with the three band directors once a
month. The Do Re Mi board functions through various committees.
These committees include:
- Pizza by the Slice at Viking
- Pizza Day
- Uniforms
- Cheese and Sausage Sales
- Local Solo/Ensemble Contest
- Bowlathon
- Handbook
- Band Festival Auditions
- Spring Awards

To ensure a successful
band program in Gurnee, all Do Re Mi members can find a committee to
support either by volunteering your time, attending a fundraiser,
donating your resources, bringing in baked goods or chaperoning an
event. We hope every parent will be an active member of Do Re Mi. We
know you will find the experience both rewarding and fun!
